Yesterday afternoon(4,24,05) was my 1st time to drive on the “real” road (not in the driving training school yo) after I got the driving licence. I had to thank my eldest brother for his courage.(you know, the horrible situation when ppl drive 1st time... ) Yes, it was also scared me. Especially in TW, usually there are lots of motorcycle riders, crazy drivers and pedestrians on the road. They always drive or ride or walk by their own wills not by the traffic safety code. Then now you could image the situation I were in--when I drove slowly and very carefully, one motorcycle or one car or one pedestrian would appear suddenly, particularly in the countryside.

I drove from my home to the (almost) most southern position of TW—Eluanbi, Pingtong. I drove through 88th highway and country roads for 4 hours (2pm-6pm) and only took a rest for 5 minutes. A-Ha, I found that I love driving...even kind of addict to it... I changed the mood from scare in the very beginning to enjoy when I could gradually got control of driving...yeah, what an achievement!! ^-^

Then we went to the most famous place for black tunas (本まぐろ!?)--TungKang, Pingtong. Well, it was not so delicious and cheap as it advertises and I expected. It costs around NT$800 to 1,200(around US$27-$32) for a dish (刺身) of the belly part (トロ). Oh, squeeze customers out of money !? While I complained to my mom, she said I should go to the fish market rather than restaurants and now it’s not the peak season for black tunas. A-yaaa!!! Alright, I'll wait and go to try it again. 待ってね~トロ!!

While we arrived at home, it was 8pm. We were really exhausted for long-time over-concentrated attention. But my dear eldest brother, when will you be available next time? How about this weekend!? (HiHiHi~)...and dear daddy, I want a car!! (Alright, Alright, I'll save money la!?)

P.S. Here are some introduction of TungKong東港. Go to see it ba!!

There are still some special memorials existed, like flagstone houses, thatched cottages, San-Ho-Yuan(3-section compound--traditional Taiwanese houses), and the Japanese temple (Jinsya神社) & Baroque architectures  built during the Japanese occupation era.

I won't miss it next time!!
